Kokuhaku Review is inspired by pieces the editor strongly felt needed to be planted into print and shared. The goal is to build a cozy house for these pieces, and pieces of these writers, to live in. There is something about being able to say yes, my work is in this place. It’s safe, accepted, and cherished there.
Kokuhaku submissions will initially be solicited, sourced by the editor through open mics, other literary events, and amongst peers. Eventually submissions will be open to the public.
